Every aspect of your life, from your health and relationships to your finances and your level of happiness, is determined by your conscious and subconscious beliefs. When you have limiting beliefs, every area of your life is affected by those limiting beliefs in a negative way. Limiting beliefs are exactly that – they limit you from having the things you want. They limit your health, they limit your finances, they limit your relationships, they limit your happiness. In this article, I want to tell you about limiting beliefs, how they affect your life, how to discover your limiting subconscious beliefs, and how to permanently transform them into positive, empowering beliefs.
It has been scientifically proven that memories are actually not only held in the mind. They are also stored in every cell throughout our body – especially the cells that make up the human heart. These cellular memories can be created from recent events, or they could have been created from events that happened a long time ago.. even events we don’t consciously remember. In reality, most of the memories that affect our lives are created before the age of seven. These beliefs are affecting our current lives in ways we don’t even realize. They have been stored in our subconscious mind our whole life, and throughout every cell throughout our body.
These negative memories, imprinted into your subconscious mind and the cells throughout your body, are not only affecting your health and affecting you on a physical level. These memories and self beliefs are actually being broadcast out into the universe every single day. This is how our “reality” is shaped and created, and it’s how we attract specific events, people and situations into our lives. Our lives are based on these subconscious beliefs.
Let’s think about what “reality” really is for a second. Absolutely everything is made up of energy. Everything we perceive as “solid matter” is actually energy vibrating at such a high frequency that we perceive things to be solid. Yes, that means even we are made of energy, and with that being said, we also transmit and receive energy. If our energy is vibrating at a low frequency and we have a low energetic frequency, we perceive things differently and attract negative events into our lives. If our energy is vibrating at a higher level, such as the frequency of love, and we have a high energetic frequency, then we will attract positive events and synchronicities (repeating patterns) into our lives. Whatever we put out, we’re going to attract.
It’s the Law of Attraction on a literal and physical level. Take this in for a second.. the human heart generates the body’s most powerful electromagnetic field. This field is 60 times more powerful energetically and 5,000 times more powerful magnetically than the human brain. The heart radiates electromagnetic energy up to 10 feet from our bodies in a 360 degree sphere, broadcasting information via this field every single second, 24 hours a day.
Memories are only memories to the conscious mind. To the unconscious mind and the heart, they are current events. These “current events” can keep us from getting what we want. They can keep the body from healing. They are the cause of many problems in both the body and the mind. If painful events, memories and beliefs are never cleared and released, you will not be able to easily attract the things you want. To be able to get what you want, you first have to let go. To take it a step further, those memories and past events are directly linked to every other event or memory that occurred at that time. If you were listening to a certain song at the time, for example, that song is always going to remind you of that past event… it becomes a trigger for that negative memory, either consciously or subconsciously.
So how do you discover the limiting beliefs you have, if you’re not consciously aware of them? There is a process called applied kinesiology, also known as “muscle testing”. This is a technique that works by measuring muscle strength while asking specific questions. However, when using muscle testing, you ask questions in the form of statements. For instance, if you wanted to find out if you had a limiting belief that was keeping you from making money, you would say, “I have a limiting belief surrounding money and finances”. While making this statement, you test it by using one of the many muscle testing techniques. If your body tests strong, this means yes. If your body tests weak, this means no. Then, you would get more specific using different statements to find the exact limiting belief that is affecting your life and keeping you from making money.
While we’re on the subject of limiting beliefs affecting your finances, I want to share an important part of this. There is a something called the “financial thermostat” which determines how much money you are able to hold onto. It is a personal money blueprint that is ingrained in your subconscious mind. Even if you know all the tricks to earning money, your financial thermostat could prevent you from becoming a millionaire. If you financial thermostat is set “low”, you could win the lottery and lose the money the next day through events and circumstances that show up. How? You may have a limiting belief that money is only for evil people and/or that making a million dollars is too hard and unachievable.
As children, we were taught how to think about money. We were taught how much or how little we can have, and how difficult or easy money is to come by. Some of us were taught to think of rich people as greedy and to believe that having money is bad or “not spiritual”. Although your financial thermostat was set in childhood by others, the good news is that it’s YOUR thermostat now and you can reset it for any level of prosperity you desire. By changing and “rewiring” your limiting subconscious beliefs, you can change your financial thermostat and set it to “high”, so you are able to always experience financial wellness.
Applied kinesiology can also be used for many things other than finding limiting subconscious beliefs. You can use it to answer any questions you may have about life. You can use it to find out which vitamins or supplements you should be taking. You can use it to find out how you can improve your relationship. If you’re having trouble making a decision, you can find out which option would be in your best interest and affect your life for the better.
So once you find the limiting subconscious beliefs that are affecting your life in a negative way, what’s next? There are a few different belief clearing techniques you can use to clear these limiting beliefs. Some of these techniques include EFT (emotional freedom technique) and EMDR (eye movement desensitation reprocessing). However, the easiest and most powerful clearing technique is the “cue word process” which is one of the primary focuses in Theta Energetics. The theta state (corresponding to frequencies ranging from 4hz to 8hz) is associated with deep relaxation, meditation, enhanced creativity, stress relief, light sleep and dreaming. The theta state has been used in meditation for centuries, and has been shown to improve a person’s overall health and well-being. It can also be used to release blocked emotions and limiting beliefs.
Through the combination of brainwave entrainment, guided meditation and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), you are able to access both the alpha state and the theta state, and then re-access these states whenever you want by using a simple physical action, or “anchor”.
The Theta Energetics audio sessions will take you to the alpha state and theta state using binaural and isochronic frequencies and a guided voice track, and once you are in these states, you will be able to “anchor” them using NLP. This allows you to recall the alpha state or theta state wherever you are, whenever you want. While in the alpha or theta state, you will also be able to “install” a cue word that you can mentally repeat whenever you are experiencing an undesirable thought or emotion, and mentally repeating your cue word will “clear” and permanently release this undesirable thought or emotion.
Creating an anchor using NLP only takes about 5 sessions, but you should use the Theta Energetics sessions at least once a day for 7 days. The audio sessions last 10 minutes each and will guide to through anchoring either alpha or theta. Using the sessions once a day for 7 days will make sure that the alpha states and theta states have been properly anchored, and you can then “test” the anchor by firing it, and you should feel the alpha state or theta state within 10-15 seconds.
